  • Check in with us for any possible weather delays

    • Weather can be unpredictable. Please give our office a call or pop in the morning before your flight to ensure that we are still on track to fly that day.

    • Please see our tariff to review our refund/cancellation policy for inclement weather days

  • Dress for the weather

    • If you're going on a day tour, don't forget to wear a good pair of running shoes, and bring a rain jacket for your stops in Nahanni National Park Reserve

    • Although summers in the Dehcho bring sweltering heat, it can get quite chilly at altitude in the mountains. It may be wise to bring a blanket, or even sweats to throw on while you're in the plane

    • And vise versa, if you are flying with us in the winter, please layer up. It is not uncommon for us to fly in -30°C temperatures. Make sure to bundle up, and don't forget your hat & mitts!

During Flight

  • Stay buckled up

    • Always keep your seatbelt fastened while the plane is in motion. In the often unpredictable conditions of the North, turbulence can be common. Staying secure is important.

  • Listen to the pilots safety briefing

    • Before takeoff, the pilot will often give safety instructions and details specific to the area you're flying over. Pay close attention, as they will include emergency procedures and specific hazards.

  • Enjoy the scenery

    • You will be flying over one of the most unique, picturesque landscapes in North America. Enjoy the variety of terrain, and keep an eye out for the wandering wildlife below!

  • Sit Back and Relax!

    • Our pilots are all passionate and well trained. They take great pride in their flying ability, and want to provide you with the best experience possible. They will do everything within their control to ensure your safety and comfort. Please respect their experience and let them do their thing.
